Grandma De Voss Finds A Trunk Full Of Old Books

28 Oct

Grandma De Voss found a trunk full of books and sent some to me that she thought I would enjoy. I told her I didn’t have much time to read anymore, but she insisted. These books look old, but some look as if they might have some potential.

Oh, Cody! Couldn’t get enough of that kid and his adventures. But I couldn’t decide if I was supposed to have a crush on him or not??

Grandma read some good books. I had all of the Trixie Belden books, and you should definitely read that one. They’re really good. That’s actually Honey Wheeler copping a feel on the cover, but I’m sure Trixie cops one in the story.

Oh, these are so funny. I think I like the first one the best, “Cody The Metrosexual.” Ha ha! Perfect!!

I’m pretty sure “Trixie Belden Cops a Feel” was short-listed for a Newberry Award. But you know, politics.

I’ve been looking for the sequel to “While You’re Down There” for ages. Anything left in your grandma’s trunk?

Once again you are brilliant! I love these old book covers but would never have been clever enough to think of reworking them like this. Absolutely hysterical.
